Dredging equipment lifts settled material straight off the bed rather than pumping water that happens to carry solids: desilting dams and canals, clearing settling ponds and reservoirs, and maintaining harbour and river channels.
This category lists the excavator-mounted EL dredge pump arrangement, which puts the pump and its cutting action on the end of an existing machine's boom so a contractor can work from the bank without floating plant. It is suited to sand, silt and sludge removal on projects where mobilising a dredger is not justified. For sump-based abrasive transfer behind a dredging operation, the GPN, GSD and NKZ slurry ranges are the usual pairing.
