Dewatering Pumps

Dewatering Pumps

Construction, mining and general drainage applications.

Technical Support

Dewatering pumps remove accumulated water from places it was never meant to be: mine shafts and declines, tunnel headings, quarry sumps, deep foundation excavations, basements and flooded plant rooms. Because that water carries grit, the wet ends here are built for wear rather than efficiency alone.

The 16 series in this category split along two lines. High-volume portables such as KTV, KTVE and KRS shift large quantities of muddy water at moderate head, while the high-head families — KTZ, KTZE, GSZ and LH — are chosen when the discharge point is far above the pump rather than far away from it. Ratings run from small single-phase units to 110kW three-phase LH machines, and KTVE, KTZE and LBA add automatic level control for pits nobody visits daily.
