The Tsurumi KRD611 is an 11kW heavy-duty submersible slurry pump designed for demanding applications involving sand, sediment and abrasive solids-laden liquids. Formerly designated KRS2-150, the KRD611 combines a robust cast-iron construction with a slow-running 4-pole motor for reliable operation in severe slurry-handling environments.
A high-chromium cast iron agitator suspends settled solids and assists smooth suction into the pump. Critical wear components, including the semi-open impeller and suction plate, are also manufactured from high-chromium cast iron to provide increased durability under abrasive conditions.
The top-discharge, side-flow configuration provides effective motor cooling even when the motor is exposed to air. With a 150mm discharge, 30mm solids handling, maximum capacity of 3,250 L/min and maximum head of 22m, the KRD611 provides high-volume slurry handling for demanding construction, mining, industrial and sediment-handling duties.
