The Tsurumi KRDX Series is a heavy-duty explosion-proof submersible slurry pump range designed for demanding applications where abrasive solids and potentially explosive atmospheres occur together. Certified to IECEx and ATEX requirements, the KRDX is suited to hazardous environments including mining, oil and gas facilities and similar industrial worksites.
A high-chromium cast-iron agitator assists in suspending settled material for smooth suction, while the impeller and suction plate are also manufactured from high-chromium cast iron for excellent wear resistance. Ductile cast-iron construction further enhances durability, making the KRDX suitable for mud water, sediment-containing water and abrasive slurry duties.
